Masters Nationals Success

Eleven members of the Masters squad attended this year's Swim England Nationals Masters Championships at Ponds Forge International Pool, Sheffield over the weekend. This made it our biggest contingent to take part. (Top Row L-R) Matt Hockin, Andy Matchett, Steve Clark, Katie Clements, Ian Lang, Steve Hurley. They all had a great weekend with our medallists as follows;

Steve Hurley smashed the Men's 40/44yrs age group 1500m winning Gold. Ian Lang won Silver in the Men's 30/34 years 1500m our Mixed 4x200m Freestyle relay team got Silver (narrowly missing out on Gold). Our relay team was - (L-R) Steve Hurley, Sammy Basham, Ali Browning and Ian Lang

There were no other medallists as it was very tough competition this year, but there were lots of Personal Best’s achieved and top 5 finishers.
