So long, farewell and good luck!
We would like to wish our Coach Ian 'Taff' Jones the best of luck in his new venture.
Taff has been appointed as Head Coach of Tiverton Swimming Club. We are so pleased for Taff to have gained his first Head Coach position after a competitive process. It is definitely a case of mixed emotions for our club though, as we are very sorry to see Taff go. Taff has been a coach with our club for over 5 years now and is a popular valued member of our coaching team, who is liked by the swimmers, parents, fellow coaches and the committee in equal measure.
Here are some of the comments from members of our club.
"I am sad you are leaving the club, you have so much enthusiasm, knowledge and are great with the children, a real loss for ECSC. Tiverton are lucky to have you and I just know you will do great with you as their Head Coach....watch them bloom!"
"Congratulations. What fantastic news. I will miss you as you bought such fun and energy to swimming. Good luck"
"Exeter's loss is Tiverton's gain. Good luck Taff!"
"As I said before super happy for you but absolutely gutted at the same time. You've been a huge positive influence for both my swimmers, for which I will always be grateful for. I hope Tiverton know how lucky they are!"
These are just a few of the positive comments Taff has received and are testament to how well thought of he is at Exeter City Swimming Club. We have a positive relationship with Tiverton Swimming Club and no doubt this will continue and flourish further with Taff at the helm.
Good luck Taff - we wish you every success for the future!
